About us
We're GEEIQ (pronounced like ‘Geek') and we’re a data platform and insights provider that’s used by the likes of Gucci, L’Oreal, Walmart and the BBC to navigate and engage virtual worlds. Think Ralph Lauren in Fortnite, or Elton John in Roblox.

We believe that the metaverse hype is over and that brands demand more than just good press when it comes to activating in these spaces, they need to be able to measure, attribute and identify tangible revenue opportunities. That’s where our platform comes in.

Based in London, GEEIQ is a team of 40 with plans to grow substantially in the next 24 months. Predominantly office-based, our working environment fosters collaboration and innovation.

The team

Our Client Services (CS) team integrates themselves within the brands they work with to deliver data-led decisions on key project strategies. The makeup of the team consists of gaming & marketing enthusiasts who champion the GEEIQ platform & services to provide a data led approach to the strategies they implement with each brand. Through our platform, our CS team enables brands to unlock gaming as a media channel by cutting out the noise and putting data at the heart of brand strategies.

The role
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Account Manager to join our CS team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of project delivery. Collaborating closely with an Account Director, you'll support them with client management & communication, research & strategy, activation reporting and presentation delivery, while bringing fresh perspectives and an eagerness to learn.
You will be directly supporting the needs of our clients as an extension of their teams, which include brand marketing, media & innovation within Walmart, L’Oreal, BBC, Luxottica, Versace & Ralph Lauren. This role will require direct collaboration with these brand teams, developing project strategies and making sure they are deriving relevant insights from the GEEIQ platform, as well as yours and the teams’ expertise & individual thought.
This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, are strong communicators and who aspire to make a tangible impact through their work. The role will require you to be detail-oriented and meticulous in your deliverables, particularly the presentations you create. You will be expected to communicate clearly & concisely with clients, demonstrating an understanding of gaming, technology, marketing, corporate infrastructure and how GEEIQ plays a role in combining these things to achieve client success. You'll delve into a diverse array of brands, engaging with senior stakeholders on projects that push the boundaries of innovation within their industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day client communication, timelines and project delivery
  • Developing client strategy with an Account Director, translating this into presentations that are concise and visually impactful.
  • Analysing, interpreting & presenting data, making strategic recommendations based on your findings
  • Leading client meetings with confidence, from delivery of content to agenda setting, through to minute taking and wrap up in support of next steps and agreed outcomes
  • Building client relationships; listening and understanding individual client requirements and consistently meeting if not exceeding their expectations
  • Developing a clear understanding of your clients’ brand(s), category, customers & pain points
  • Monitoring and understanding your clients’ markets; be aware of market issues and competitive activity
  • Keeping informed on industry trends & brand activity in gaming, proactively sharing relevant news & information with the team & your clients
  • Enabling and upskilling clients on the latest GEEIQ platform tools & solutions and relaying product feedback
  • Identifying ways to increase the CS support for client teams, generating revenue opportunities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2+ years experience in marketing/technology, agencies or brand-relevant industries
  • Strong experience working with or within global brands and/or data/tech companies
  • Highly personable with a collaborative spirit, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Data savvy, able to manipulate data to draw insights at a fundamental level
  • Excellent presentation-building and storytelling skills, with a creative & detailed-oriented eye
  • Proactive, excited by challenges and always looking to make positive contributions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Forward-thinking and able to generate creative solutions for client needs
  • Excellent time management & organisation skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity
  • A keen interest in the gaming industry and/or a base understanding of digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Right to work in the UK
