We are looking for a range of Engineers/Developers to join our fast growing team! These roles present a unique opportunity to evolve into a more senior role within the company as we scale and grow and will be incentivised subject to performance/ delivery.

AWS PLATFORM ENGINEER

As a AWS Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients in their transition to Cloud and DevOps environments. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices, you will work autonomously to execute tasks, set priorities, and deliver exceptional results. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions aligned with their business objectives..

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high quality, secure, robust cloud solutions
• Integrating and optimising AWS Connect within existing infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline cloud operations and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, and Product Owners.
• Clear documentation and best practice infrastructure complies and security standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, driving improvements
• Work within a AWS-hosted environment to deploy applications
• Provide guidance and mentorship on AWS best practices across the team.
• Develop and maintain our Dev and Production Aurora PostgreSQL serverless Clusters.

Skills & Qualifications

• AWS cloud services across multiple production environments.
• Solid programming skills in Python, building automation, tooling, or integrations in cloud.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, Aurora PostgreSQL, IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch. Understanding of Data Mapping for Analytics
• Background in architecting and building scalable, secure cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.

Bonus

• Experience with AWS AI Tech Stack – Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Sagemaker

BACKEND DEVELOPER/SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Java 17 Kotlin AWS)

Collaborate with Lead Engineer on the mobile gaming platform as the company scales the platform and introduce new features. There's an emphasis on code quality; designing and developing highly complex mobile and web based platforms working across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop/ maintain existing and new backend applications using Kotlin and Ktor.
• Comprehensive documentation for application features and architecture.
• Collaborate with team to meet all functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Game devs ensuring data pipeline and bi-directionally responsive to input.
• Integrate authentication using Firebase
• Write extensive Unity tests for code coverage
• Work within a AWS-hosted environment to deploy applications
• JIRA task management and creation based on UX / UI design and feature specifications
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and team standups.

Skills & Qualifications

• Computer Science or similar STEM discipline degree
• Strong java and Kotlin development experience.
• Experience with Agile processes and TDD
• Understanding of Data Mapping for Analytics
• Understanding of RESTful API’s and asynchronous data retrieval
• Strong understanding of database mapping and storage best practices and API data optimisation and caching.
• Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Algorithms.
• Tech stack; Redis, Aurora, Route 53, ECS, Github Actions

REACT FRONTEND DEVELOPER

Develop robust, scalable frontend solutions using React and Typescript. You’ll play a key role in building user-centric interfaces, integrating role related User Interfaces and ensuring high-quality releases through rigorous testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop/ maintain Internal and Client facing web applications using React / Typescript.
• Comprehensive documentation for application features and architecture.
• Collaborate with team to meet all functional requirements.
• Integrate authentication using Firebase as a primary auth provider with various social and platform authentication methods.
• Work within a Vercel-hosted environment to deploy and support frontend solutions
• JIRA task management and creation based on UX / UI design and feature specifications
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and team standups.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with React (2+ years).
• Proficiency with JavaScript / Typescript.
• Understanding of RESTful API’s and asynchronous data retrieval
• Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Agile Methodology: Experience working with Agile environment.
• Ability to work in a faced paced startup environment.
• Experience working within AWS ecosystems.
• Experience with Firebase Authentication & 3rd Party Sign in.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principals and CSS frameworks.
• Experience with unit testing

Bonus

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Familiarity with container systems (Docker), mobile game backend code.
